August 29, 2024, Sarasota, FL – Lightshare Behavioral Wellness & Recovery, Inc. made a significant impact at the Florida Behavioral Health Conference 2024 (BHCon2024), held from August 21-23 at the Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. As the largest behavioral health gathering in the state, BHCon2024 provided an ideal platform for Lightshare to showcase its unique approach to comprehensive behavioral health services.
Shawny Robey, President and CEO of Lightshare, took the conference by storm as a keynote speaker, delivering an inspiring address on the piloting of innovative programs aimed at enhancing behavioral health care. Her presentation, which focused on new approaches to tackling co-occurring disorders and expanding wrap-around services, resonated with attendees and positioned Lightshare as a leader in the field.
This year, Lightshare further elevated its presence by embracing alternative wellness practices. The organization distributed yoga mats to attendees, reinforcing its commitment to holistic approaches to mental health and wellness. This initiative not only garnered numerous compliments but also solidified Lightshare’s brand recognition across Florida counties.
The theme of this year’s conference, “Ignite!”, perfectly aligned with Lightshare’s mission to spark change and innovation in behavioral health care. By forging new connections and expanding its network, Lightshare is poised to continue its leadership in providing comprehensive services, including being one of the strongest agencies equipped to provide wrap-around services for co-occurring disorders, as well as serve as Sarasota County’s receiving center for Baker and Marchman Acts.
As BHCon2024 drew to a close, Lightshare walked away with a stronger network of recognition and a renewed commitment to empowering individuals across Florida with the tools they need for long-lasting recovery and optimal health.
