Support Lightshare's
No Wrong Door
Initiative

Lightshare’s No Wrong Door Initiative aims to build a comprehensive wellness campus where all services are provided on-site, ensuring no one is transferred to another facility. With same-day access to care, the campus will offer a full spectrum of mental health, medical, and social services in one place. Our goal is to raise $2 million for building and infrastructure and an additional $2 million to cover operational costs, totaling $4 million.

Donors can specify how they would like their contributions to be used or direct inquiries to philanthropy@lightsharewellness.org for specific instructions.

Primary Goals

Expand & Improve Our Detox Facility

Here, we’ve answered some common questions about Lightshare’s detox facility expansion. From what has been accomplished so far to why your support is essential, this section will provide the information you need to better understand how we’re improving care for those in need and how you can make a difference.

The expansion of Lightshare’s detox facility is crucial because it enables faster and more immediate care for individuals in need. With increased capacity and resources, the facility can accommodate more people, reducing wait times and providing timely support for those struggling with addiction. This expansion ensures that individuals receive the critical, life-saving care they need when they need it most, improving recovery outcomes and serving the broader community more effectively.
So far, Lightshare’s detox facility expansion has accomplished several key improvements. The facility’s structure has been upgraded, creating a more efficient and welcoming environment for patients. Energy-efficient devices have been installed, contributing to sustainability efforts and reducing operational costs. Bathrooms and showers have been remodeled and refurbished, offering a more comfortable and hygienic space for patients. Additionally, the facility has introduced healthier menu options to support better nutrition during recovery. These advancements, along with other enhancements, aim to provide a more effective and supportive healing experience.
Your support and donations are critical to the continued expansion of Lightshare’s detox facility and the development of their new 24/7 wellness center. To meet these building objectives, approximately $4 million will need to be raised. These funds are essential to ensure that we can provide life-saving services to more individuals in need, with improved facilities, modernized equipment, and comprehensive care around the clock. By contributing, you directly help expand access to immediate, compassionate detox services and create a wellness center that will support long-term recovery and well-being for countless individuals. Every donation brings us closer to making these vital resources a reality.
Lightshare Behavioral Wellness & Recovery, Inc. is thrilled to announce the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the recent completion of the “No Wrong Door Walk-In Center” on Thursday, October 24, 2024. The event will take place from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, with special access to our Legacy Donors beginning at 12:30 PM.

Full Development of 24/7
Walk-In Center

The development of Lightshare’s 24/7 walk-in center is important because it provides immediate, round-the-clock access to support for individuals in crisis or needing assistance. Having a walk-in center ensures that people can receive care and guidance at any time, without waiting for scheduled appointments. It addresses the urgent needs of the community, offering mental health, medical, or social services when they are most needed. This constant availability can improve outcomes by preventing situations from worsening, reducing emergency room visits, and providing a safe, supportive environment for individuals seeking help.

So far, Lightshare has laid a strong foundation for the development of the 24/7 walk-in center. The vision and plans for the center are fully developed, outlining its role as a critical resource for individuals in need of immediate support. The design includes round-the-clock access to mental health, medical, and social services, which will serve as a lifeline for the community.
However, while the vision is clear and the plans are ready to be executed, funding is still required to turn this into a reality. Additional notes and approvals are needed to secure the necessary resources to build and staff the center effectively. Once funding is secured, the walk-in center can move from a concept to a fully operational facility, fulfilling its mission of providing constant, life-saving care to those in crisis.
Donations to Lightshare’s 24/7 walk-in center are incredibly meaningful because they directly contribute to making this vital community resource a reality. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to providing around-the-clock care and support to individuals in crisis. These funds will be used to secure the necessary infrastructure, staffing, and services that are essential for the center’s operation.
Without the generosity of donors, this much-needed resource would remain a plan on paper. By contributing, donors play an active role in creating a safer, more supportive community, where people can find help and hope at any time of day or night. Their impact will be felt not just in the lives of those who seek care, but in the wellbeing of the entire community.
The completion of the No Wrong Door Walk-In Center & Initiative will mark a transformative moment in our mission to ensure that anyone seeking behavioral wellness and recovery services can access compassionate care without barriers, any time of day.

Comprehensive Access to Care

The initiative ensures that individuals struggling with substance use or mental health issues can receive help without being turned away. Whether they seek care at the detox center, walk-in center, or any other service location, they are always directed to the appropriate resource.

Reduced Barriers to Treatment

By expanding services and locations, the initiative lowers barriers to treatment, making it easier for individuals to seek help regardless of their circumstances, such as financial limitations, lack of insurance, or fear of stigma.

Immediate Crisis Support

The 24/7 walk-in center provides round-the-clock access for individuals in crisis, offering immediate assistance without the need for appointments, which can be life-saving for those experiencing mental health emergencies or substance use issues.

Holistic Approach to Recovery

The integration of detox services with the walk-in center fosters a holistic approach to recovery, ensuring that individuals receive not only initial detox support but also continuous care and counseling for long-term recovery.

Improved Community Health

This initiative strengthens the community by addressing addiction and mental health issues head-on. By providing comprehensive support services, it can reduce the long-term burden on emergency rooms, law enforcement, and social services, leading to better overall community health.

Decreased Relapse Rates

The availability of accessible, continuous care significantly decreases the likelihood of relapse. By offering immediate access to detox services and follow-up care through the walk-in center, individuals are better supported on their path to recovery.
