Overview
The expansion of Lightshare’s detox facility is crucial because it enables faster and more immediate care for individuals in need. With increased capacity and resources, the facility can accommodate more people, reducing wait times and providing timely support for those struggling with addiction. This expansion ensures that individuals receive the critical, life-saving care they need when they need it most, improving recovery outcomes and serving the broader community more effectively.
Your support and donations are critical to the continued expansion of Lightshare’s detox facility and the development of their new 24/7 wellness center. To meet these building objectives, approximately $4 million will need to be raised. These funds are essential to ensure that we can provide life-saving services to more individuals in need, with improved facilities, modernized equipment, and comprehensive care around the clock. By contributing, you directly help expand access to immediate, compassionate detox services and create a wellness center that will support long-term recovery and well-being for countless individuals. Every donation brings us closer to making these vital resources a reality.

Current Progress
So far, Lightshare has laid a strong foundation for the development of the 24/7 walk-in center. The vision and plans for the center are fully developed, outlining its role as a critical resource for individuals in need of immediate support. The design includes round-the-clock access to mental health, medical, and social services, which will serve as a lifeline for the community. However, while the vision is clear and the plans are ready to be executed, funding is still required to turn this into a reality. Additional notes and approvals are needed to secure the necessary resources to build and staff the center effectively. Once funding is secured, the walk-in center can move from a concept to a fully operational facility, fulfilling its mission of providing constant, life-saving care to those in crisis.
