The Voluntary Interim Placement-Enhanced Recovery (VIP-ER) program provides day treatment to individuals meeting the Salvation Army’s homeless criteria. Housing is provided by The Salvation Army, and First Step provides substance-abuse treatment.
- 10 weeks residential substance abuse treatment program located at the Salvation Army campus that incorporates daily group and weekly individual therapy, 12-step meetings, life skills groups.

- Eligibility: homeless adults with addiction-related disorders
